Romanistische Zeitschrift für Literaturgeschichte (RZLG) has been founded 1977 and publishes studies that classify interpreted texts regarding their literary and historico-cultural context. Moreover, the studies focus on Romance comparative topics, contribute to the revival of the discussion of methods, and process the history of the research field critically. The journal informs by means of reports on congresses and research projects. The German-French editorial office aims at removing barriers that have been built by national scholarly communication systems.
